Anyone have a good method for a do it yourself wheel alignment. I've done the method listed on the old Vernco sight with the lego and string in the past. Just can't remember exactly how that method went.

Any other methods anyone has used or can enyone refresh my memory on the "lego & string" method?

I used a set of old wheels without tires on them and a four foot builders level bungee corded onto the wheels. lift front of jeep and with the levels @ same level, you can measure the front and back and make adjustments as necesary. remember you want the front in a little. Also I think if you do a search you will find a lot of stuff about this both high tech and low.

I adjust my toe-in by: 1) keeping the weight of the jeep on the axle, I raise it off the ground until the front tires can just rotate 360 degrees around; 2) I place one mark on the outside edge each of the front tires (usually on one of the large lugs in the tire); 3) I then rotate both tires so their marks are parallel (same height) to the centerline of the hub and facing the front of the jeep; 4) I then take a cross-measurement from mark to mark between each tire; 5) I then rotate the marks to the same level as the hub but facing the rear of the jeep and again take a cross-measurement between marks; lastly 6) I adjust the toe so that the cross-measurement between the marks when facing the front of the jeep is about 1/4" less than the same measurement when the marks are facing the rear of the jeep. Make since? It seems to always work for me, the jeep tracks nice and I have never noticed any adverse tire wear.
