Lower Steering Column bearing

    Does the lower Steering column bearing snap into the Plastic Adapter ring?

    Tore down my column and I dont recall it being snapped into it, but it doesn't make sence for it not to be. this actually leads me to believe that mine wasn't and was part of my steering issue.
