I'm replacing all the brakes, wheel cylinders etc. on my 61 CJ. My new wheel cylinders are all the same with a center attaching point for the brake line. My old front wheel cylinders have an offset attaching point for the rubber brake line. It appears the thingy with 4 bolts on top of the axel hub will be in the way of a center attaching point for the rubber hose.
    Any suggestions?

There should be an "S" shaped steel line between the wheel cylinder and the rubber line. But I think the inlets on the wheel cylinder should be at an angle.

Thanks for te info Glenn. I thought maybe mine were original and they just did not make them on the angle any more. I got the whole brake set from Jungle Jims willys jeeps Jeep Parts.com.

The thingy is the kingpin cap. :) I should have mentioned you need a left and a right for the front wheel cylinders.

When I upgraded my '61 from 9" to 10" I had a "Z" tube that went to a small bracket on top of the king pin, not as big as the earlier version with the "S" line. I still had to use the 60 deg angle cylinders. According to origional parts manual a 60 deg offset cylinder is specific for the left and right side and Krages is where I got mine.
