    is there just kits u can buy for the cj to yj conversion?

    One place to look is on Ebay.
    But all your big supplier have them MORE ,Rubicon, ect.

    I don't know of anyone who makes a YJ conversion kit for a pre-76 CJ.

    I have a 76 CJ5...

    how hard is it going to be to install a kit?

    am i better off trying to pull my own teeth or perform my own appendectomy?

    I've done a few SOAs in the past. The current 69 (which I still haven't went to fetch) has an SOA but I'm sure it will have to be reengineered. Folks forget that steering geometry is more imprtant that driveline angles. The last one was a 78 CJ5. I left the original perches on the axles and added new ones to the bottom for the SOA. Easy to reverse back to stock.
