160 speedo ID

    Yes...I did take this speedo out of a trashy CJ5. Ironically, it's round and fit in the hole with the other gauges hidden.

    160! wow...old Porshe?? or what....who can ID this??!!

    im not sure but it sort of looks like a 65 or 66 mustang speedo.believe it or not some of the 6 cylinder early mustangs had 160 mph speedos in them,i remember them because my 1967 mustang with a 390 cu. in. 4 speed i bought in 1970 only had a 120 mph speedo and i thought that was very odd.

    Odd how the 160 is upside right. Don't think I've seen that done before.

    160 klicks = 100 mph. That was my first thought.

    gotta admit...I thought about KPH as I am not far from Canada.

    Not KPH from Canada, anything that old would be in MPH, plus there would be dual scales anyhow for trips south :).

    I vote for the Mustang, there was lots of stuff used in common between Broncos & 'Stangs.

    solder tested made them IIRC

    My 65 has 120mph on the speedo.
