You can get the pressure plate at several retail locations (Krage, Northstar Willys...ect) The Jeep number for the pressure plate is 948692.

If you look at LUK clutches the only real diff between a general Chevy clutch and the stock V6 replacement is being raised (that and it states 10 1/2 to 10 3/8 size)... I have run both and have pics of the diff if you need to see it.

Flat is stock - raised is chevy. When I get home from work I will post a pic and part numbers from LUK on the 2.

FWIW - both worked in my setup, just had different clutch linkage settings between them.

Several things will effect which will work - Clutch arm movement, TO Bearing size (length of spacing), shape of the PPlate, and torque on the bolts PPlate to Flywheel. The spacing of the adaptor will come in there somewhere as well. If you had the flat PPlate in you would look at the depth the TO Bearing moves to get release, and the torque of the bolts on the PPlate (more critical than most people really know). Make sure the torque is to spec (I believe FSM states 25 to 35 but would need to confirm this). With a new clutch and resurfaced FW I start at the bottom (like 25 as listed above) - if it slipps I pull it and go up 5. You don't need as much movement as you think in the bearing, and make sure your arms are in good shape (reweld and redrill the holes for the rods). With your '71 a T14 it might depend on your adaptor to figure out the right combo as there are different arms and TO bearings. I think Novak had a good right up on this or do a search - I saw somewhere the different arms being discussed.
