Seats seats seats

shoot, with enough cash, any seat will fit.

I'm using two seats out of an early BMW 3 series and using 1" square tubing that was layin' around the shop to make seat brackets. I'll take pics when I'm done... kinda dirty environment to use the camera...

 

I need the seats to be approximately 18 inches deep, and most of the new seats for jeeps are 23 inches deep. Making getting in and out of the jeep A real knee knocker. The rear wheel well will not let the seat go back I have been talking in with the guy that does my recovering motorcycles etc. and he was suggesting modifying the seat I have now and then he would recover it. I understand that money can fix anything. And since I can do metal bending and welding. I'm sure I could build my own seat and have him recover it. I guess I'm looking for the easy way out

I recall a couple of years back that someone did a really nice job with buckets from a Saturn.

 

I may have found a website that lists hight back seats Starting from 1955, but unfortunately the page said it was left on the website for archive purposes. Due to the fact of import competition, but since this is a long weekend. I will have to wait to wait until Tuesday to call them. Hopefully they will be able to give me a reliable lead. Otherwise I will have to start searching for all of the seats that have been mentioned. Thank you
