    Here is the situation::?

    70 CJ5 factory :v6: with Dana 27 with "small" driveshaft u joint yoke

    earlier T90 & Dana 18 TC with "big" front drive shaft yoke

    I have both a "big" & "small" u joint front driveshaft, both are the same length

    Should I change the Dana 27 yoke, or the Dana 18 yoke?

    Which u joint is better (stronger)?

    If the spline matches and the driveshaft yokes line up in phase, just put the two driveshafts together to make one with the correct ends. Much easier than changing axle or tcase yokes.

    Change the D27 to the larger. It is stronger and a more 'standard' size now days.
