    thank you Sparky . i don't have the right one in my jeep . will that keep my gas and heat gauge from working i can't seem to get them to work

    Is it a Jeep speedometer?

    I don't believe the Ohm readings changed for the fuel over the years, so that should work. Temp, probably should work too even if it's not "correct".
