    Greetings fellow Jeepers,

I finally have my project where the powertrain is essentially complete. Finally, nothing is hanging from the engine hoist or held up by a jack.

Recently I had McRuff do a little machine work for me, and he told me he hoped to see pictures soon. Well Mike, here they are. For those of you who would like to see pictures that were taken during construction, there is a link by my signature to my photo site. I hope to have these up there soon.

I would also like to thank this forum again for all the good advice. I don’t post often, but I check the new posts every day, and I really enjoy all the good-natured banter. Also, I am listing the main sources of hardware I had to acquire to get to this point. You will see the names of several members who sold me some hard to find items at really great prices. Thanks to all of you again as well.

Dana 27 front axle, complete, McRuff.
Dana 18 gears, fantastic shape, Chuck Ray.
    Dana 18 rebuild kit, Novak.
Dana 44 gears, R&P, recommended by Nickmil.
    T90 rebuild kit, Krage.
    T90 long input shaft, Ebay.
Advance Adapters T90 to V6 adapter kit, Ebay.
Dana 27 and 44 seals, bearings etc. Krage.
Disc brake components for front axle, Ebay and Krage.
Saginaw mounting kit, not yet installed. McRuff.
11” backing plates for rear, Jeff’s Bronco Graveyard.
    11” finned brake drums, TXJake.
    Rear leaf springs, Krage.
    Front leaf springs, Speedbuggy.
Hayes flywheel, after over a year of searching, Ebay.
Intake manifold and valve covers, Ebay.

The V6 is a 1982 Buick 4.1L that was bored .030 over to have the cylinders aligned. Everything else is standard. The timing cover is new with the built-in high volume oil pump.

I am currently painting the wheels and getting ready to start the body work. I hope to have the chassis rolling before long.

    Happy Jeepin’

    Jim
