Steering link loose

    Is there a way to tighten up the pitman arm assembly on the origional Ross steering setup? Mine is extremely loose where the pitman arm attaches to the frame and to the link that eventually goes to the Ross box. I'm talking about 1/3 turn of the steering wheel and all the play is coming from the frame "pillow block".

    Is there a way to adjust or re-build this section??

    I think you are talking of the bellcrank. Have you rebuilt it yet? Mine had lots of slop too, but I rebuilt it and it is nice and tight now.

    Yes.. I believe it's the bellcrank.

    Is there a re-build kit for this, or take it apart and shim and re-sleave with odd-ball parts? (kinda like the rest of the jeep)
