Sm465 Trans Mount

    I've got a 54 m38a1 chevy 4.3, sm465 and a D18 tc. I'm trying to use the original cross member for the trans. I have Novak's 1" adapter so everything is pretty close but. The side mount on the 18 tc sort of limits movement front and back. I'm trying not to chop the cross member all up but I'm thinking I am going to have to.
    Any ideas would be appreciated

    Thanks for the pictures. My application looks like I will only have to notch out alittle bit, not the whole center. I really didn't want to cut but it seems to be the only solution.
    Did you have to change drive line lengths? Mine actually look like they will work.
