adjustin clutch pedal question

    Hi;

    My 79 cj5 clutch is in need of an adjustment. I have to press the pedal pretty close to the floor. I would like to adjust the pedal. Does anyone have any tips? I noticed there is a thread piece that goes into the throw-out level, should Lengthen this?

    Note: The clutch is pretty new.

    grab the clutch lever and move it back and forth. you should get about 1/4 in play, if not adjust the adjuster till you get proper play.

    Thanks. Is the clutch lever attched to the/part of the adjuster?
