Sorry, I missed the $750 part. Maybe it was my own intense desire to find one of these local.

The last pic posted shows dual rear gate handles?? The first ones posted shows the top in question as having a center handle with cables to the latch, ala CJ-7 factory style. Is the Acme a dual handle latch arrangement in stock form? If so, the first one isn't an Acme top. Just food for thought from my observations.

Apparently Acme made both, dual and single handle tops. The one in the pic I posted above is a dual handle top as you noted. It is obviously an Acme top. I posted that pic to show the Acme logo. I got that one off the web. However, the top on my dad's green CJ5 that I posted above is also an Acme top. You can still read the "Acme" logo on it and everything. It is a single handle latch. So, apparently Acme made both.

On another note: Dad's Acme topis also that brown color inside. Just like the top posted on the first page of this thread.

this is a pic of a 76 and up door.. i dont really know if you can tall by looking but the angle of the front of the door looks more leaned back to me .. telling me that your top looks like an earlier model..

Not to bump a really old thread but wow, this was the top I had sold as a result of being forced to sell when I was living in a rened home with roomates. Sure wish I hadnt sold that top, didnt know just how rare they were then!
