AMC v8 manual??

Does anyone know if there are any books/manuals out there about the AMC v8? I have a 390 that I want to get running. Thanks

Never seen one of the hot rod stlye books.

 

There's a '72 Jeep manual at www.c104.net - a very slow link. Note the 390 was gone by '72 though. The 304/360 should be similar, but I'm not sure of the exact differences.

 

Have a look at www.bulltear.com there's a forum there for AMC v8 tips. I did get a book (i think it was from that forum) called something like "butch's guide to rebuilding a AMC 360". I can't remember the exact title, but the book was awesome. google AMC 360 rebuild enough and you'll find something.

Bulltear also do some custom parts for the AMC's that I couldn't find elsewhere.
