Hi everyone - what is the best thing to use for storage outside. I dont have a garage or anything. A straight soft top? Cover of some sort?

    Thanks

I'd go for something like this if you have room. Only a better one with more durable canvas.

I thought he was talking about form-fitting type car covers. I bet most of the Jeep parts places would have something.

Yeah I think your right. I was just trying to offer another idea. They aren't too expensive and are kinda like a little garage.:)

My HOA would have a hissy fit over something like that.

Living on ten acres has many advantages. I'll add not having to deal with a HOA as another one.R)

    13 here. Do I hear 20?

I don't keep a top on mine so if it rains I have to put it in the barn...until I got the trail cover from Rain Gear. I dont have a photo of the Jeep with the cover on, but you can search "trail cover" on this site to see one from another member or go to www.jeepcovers.com. Fit around the windshield is a little small, but it keeps the interior super dry & with the cinch straps, it won't blow up or off.

Don't use a poly-tarp. It will scuff and chafe the crap out of your paint and leave you with a bunch of shiny bare-metal corners wherever the stress-points are.
