I am trying to get the bushing out that presses into the frame where the shackles, front leafs and frame all come together. When I pulled the old springs off durring the install of my lift I found that the center of the bushing had been blown out. All that is left in there is the metal sleeve that goes around the bushing. I have beat it senseless.. Any tricks?

Take the blade off a hacksaw, put it through the hole, and then reassemble the hacksaw. Cut through the metal sleeve but not the shackle mount. You should then be able to beat it out with a flathead screwdriver. It works very well once you have the metal sleeve cut.

Yep, the Jeep mechanics would use an air chisel to cut through the shell then peel it out. Very loud, but effective.
