Well, I researched "Don's Twin Stick" option, liked it, but having difficulty getting him to sell one. Time to look at other options. Has anyone bought or made a good twin stick set-up for the '20?

I was going to make one but i found a guy on ebay selling a set for about $115 so i got it from him. they were really good quality and worked jut fine. the shifters were made of stainless steel.

This is the model (JB Fab) that I bought and recently installed onto the d20 for my 73 CJ5. Now I need to install the d20 into the jeep. I got the short version.

If you are not in a hurry, this vendor will regularly auction a set through ebay. I missed it the first time I saw his ebay auction, the set sold for $60. I won (my first) his next ebay auction and I got them for around $80. A nice discount from full retail price.

I bought mine from him and love them! The only problem I have, is that after installation, I bought a Mojave Heater, and with the extra plenum on it, I couldn't mount it under the center of the dash because the twin sticks were in the way. I ended up mounting the heater under the glovebox, and it works great from there.

Here is the link to a current set he has on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dana...ryZ33733QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

How well do these kits fit the floor pan? How much modifying?

i installed the same kit in mine and i had to add some sheetmetal around the shifter to fill in the gap. but that could be because my floorpan resembles swiss cheese. i know i love the way it fits and shifts, it is worth it IMO.

I bought JB's kit. I had originally looked at Don's, but his website is a "contact me" to buy. I contacted him, left my phone number, and he kept sending me emails to contact him. I've never come across a Jeep merchant so determined to not sell a product. When option shopping I got info on two different other merchants (thanks, guys) and chose JB. Slowly but surely the Jeep is coming back from the dead.

I just got JB's kit for my jeepster and it looks pretty nice. He gave us guys over on the jeepster board 10% till the end of last month. May be worth it to write and ask if he will extend the discount here.

Have not put it in yet since the instructions consist of remove old one. install new one...

I found a factory twin stick for a 20. Someone here said it was from a scout.
