That's John. (Firegod33) I've been asking him about a set, but he isn't
making them right now. I'm somewhere on his list but he's been quite
busy for about the last year or so and hasn't started up production.

Hey Jerry, you want to sell yours???

Thanks for the kind words John and Jerry. I have five sets that are half way finished. I'm just waiting to have the spare cash to replace some of my equipment. I expect to be able to finish them in around a month or so. I also have some other surprises in store for you all!

Timmy was the one that made the angle slider for his Silver Jeep.

I copied it but have not mounted mine yet

I just used 3 x 4 angle iron, some 1.75" DOM, and a chop saw. I figured that being mounted to the steel body would be strong enough, since any force would be upward and into the body, rather than tearing them away from the body.

Looking back, I should have probably put tubing on the bottom edge. But I never really used them anyway....

I really like the "Johns" rails... But I have a glass body and don't think that is a great idea for that. But that with some additional attachment is what I had in mind

I think it would be fine. It would spread the impact over a wider area.
Not like you want to hit a tree or rock at speed, just use them to keep the body off the tree.

Mine, pictured above, are on a glass body.
They have saved me from a likely rollover... the rail held the body away from a low bank next to a rut that leaned deeply to the right. My passenger at the time (forum member Pa-CJ5) said if it wasn't for the rail we'd have been in deep trouble :D
