Ok, what am I/did I do wrong here?

I have antifreeze puddling in my intake valleys and on top of my timing cover. I've retorqued all the bolts, when I retorqued my cylinder heads, in sequence to the proper specs and they won't tighten anymore now. :(

Well, maybe. I just doublechecked.

Finding loose bolts that turned a 1/4 turn made me look no farther after I retorqued everything last Sunday. I need to pay closer attention to such things.

The upper hose at the water neck on the intake is wet. Would that get antifreeze all the way back on the right side in the middle of the intake? It doesn't look like it's spraying all over the place. But that does look wet. Guessing that for sure is where the coolant on top of the timing cover comes from.

check by pass and/or upper hose for leak on timing cover
other location sounds like maybe a leak thru the bolt threads on one of the manifold bolts

Upper hose had a large gash in it just above the water neck.

To be more specific, it was on the underside where I couldn't see it when it was installed.

I had some new 5/8 heater hose on my wagon that had pinholes in it. Just a matter of luck that I happened to notice green antifreeze seeping through it.
