I have a radiator out of a 84 CJ7 that had a 2.5L in it and I am wondering if the inlet and outlets are changed over do you think it will cool the Buick V6?

    Thanks for the help.

rule of thumb is 1 square inch of core per 1 cube of engine, minimum.
measure: core height x core width = 225" or more
this does not include the tanks, core only
    example: 15" x 17" = 255"
    2 or 3 row doesn't matter
I can't help with the bolt up issues

I used a Chevy Monza v6 radiator. Fits between frame rails and I have no cooling problems on my 225v6 cj3a.

Sounds good, this rad I am thinking of using is 16 x 19. What is the size of the Monza rad?

    Thanks

I am running a 1980 Datsun pickup radiator in my MB with a 225 v-6. I have a dual electric fan off of a newer chrysler new yorker. The raditor bolts into a slightly modified grill and the fan bolts to the radiator. The FAN pulls a TON of air with both fans on.

In 100 plus degree weather it still gets a little hot (215ish), but I think this is a function of the super small engine compartment. The hot air off the radiator fans just doesn't have anywhere to go.

I need a new hood, so some louvering might be in order over the manifolds and fan/radiator area.

My radiator might now be the best example too, it is a little old and could use a good cleaning.

I am going to see if I can find a monza radiator to take a look at also.
