V6 ground cable

    Where did the ground cable from the battery originally go on V6 Jeeps? Right now, mine goes from the battery to the last bolt on the passenger side of the intake manifold (closest to the firewall). Is this ok?

    Ok, yes. I'd move it to a larger bolt into the block. Mine actually goes to the lower alternater mounting bolt..

    Won't hurt to run a cable with a "pigtail" as well, to the fender. You also need a ground strap from the block to the frame.

    Thanks for the replies. I was just putting the intake back on and was wondering if I should move the ground cable to a better spot than the intake bolt. I'll have to take a closer look at the lower alternator bolt. Also, it still has the factory ground cable from the block to the frame.
