Jeeps that are hidden....

I ran to Napa for my coil and the owner started asking questions about my jeep. He then told me he had a jeep out back with a plow on it, so we went to look. 1977 Cj5, 304, 3 speed with 22,000 original miles on it. Paint was faded and no dents. I told him about this site hope to hear from him.

 

I run into someone like that every week or so and alot of times have a good friendship with them becaus of these old things. Everyone seems to have a different respect for you when they find out you are into Jeeps, especially the old Jeeps.

 

You're a better man than me. I would have tried to haggle with him.

Old Jeeps are like... A-Sexual Rabbits. Once you have one in your yard more seem to spring up from everywhere.R) R) R)

 

I hear ya. they attract themselves. A lot like old British cars. they just magically multiply.

 

Actually, I gotta say X2 on that, and I would have probably mentioned that his was a big POS that was probably worth about $500 and I would give it to him just to help him out by hauling the junk off.

 

these hidden jeeps seem to pop out of nowhere when your not looking. try looking for one and they all disappearR)

 

they are getting hard to find were i live (nc)... there are people that buy them up and sale them for parts....

 

Yep, since I bought my 77 Triumph Spitfire a 63 Austin Healey 3000 Mk II and a 72 MGB have mysteriously appeared in my father's garage.

 

I thought about asking him about selling, but I figured he knew what he was doing after all, he own's a Napa store before he got the jeep.

 

It's starting to happen around here. A similar phenomenon occurs with old Volkswagens as well,...ask me about "Splitwindow" Buses. R) -K-

 

VeeDubs seem to stalk old Jeeps. I got one on the street in front of the house that won't go away. Heck Jerry has a crossbreed.
