I've got the factory service manual, a parts book, Haynes manual & Moses Ludel's Jeep rebuilders manual.

By far the most valuble & useful is the factory service manual, henceforth known as "The FSM". Reprints of these are available from many different suppliers.

The second book I use the most on my current rebuild of Tonka is the parts manual, these come up on EBay from time to time.

If you've never done anything like this before the Ludel book may work for you but I find for someone with some experience its kinda "Duh-". I'm also not impressed with the quality of the printing, the pictures are downright fuzzy in the one I have.

Last on the list is the Haynes manual, IMHO don't bother with it- they try to cover too many years & models with too many generic instructions cribbed from their other manuals :(.

Get some catalogs from suppliers as well, often thier parts diagrams are better than the manuals have.

    Have fun,

    H.

Heres one source, do a Google & I'm sure others will turn up. You can also try EBay as well, always a pile of manuals on there.

Doesn't that have the bonus section on how to also keep you wallet, pockets, and even the couch cushins empty as well?:)

X2 on what everyone else has said, and a FSM is pretty much a must, along with the info you will find on this site.:)
