I'm in the process of installing my new suspension and the instructions don't specify the type of lubricant to use on the new bushings or shackles (non-greasable type). Any suggestions? Is this lubricant intended to help with installation or an 'anti-squeek'? I'd have to imagine it's anti squeek because I was able to install them by hand. Thanks for the info!

If you are using the original rubber "silent block" bushings, they are not lubricated. The poly bushings squeak if don't lube them AFAIK.

I think my bushings came with a little tube of grease but antiseize grease sounds logical. But once you are out bumping around in that killer jeep of yours... stop by my house at 10 mile n Ryan so I can get a close up look at that decal, i'm sort of interested. Or not...doesn't hurt to ask ROFL.

I guess I should have added that the bushing are poly so I'm assuming I will need some lube.

Crosshair, once it's back on the road I will PM you and set something up!

Poly bushings require sillicone grease or they'll squeak like crazy! Napa sells a useful sized tube of stuff called Silglyde. It works well. Don't use regular chassis grease, it only makes the squeaking worse.

Sylglide (sp?) is good stuff. We used it on everything that was greasable, back when I repaired vending machines.
