The wiring looks like chrysler stuff. White porcelain is the resistor for the coil. Gold colered box on the bottem right looks like regulator. Not sure about the rest, maybe control for chrysler electronic ignition???

I am not familiar with what type of system is used in you vehicle. What engine was in it, or was there one? What type of alternator?

That's definately Chrysler stuff. That thing on the left with the two prong connector is the voltage regulator and the piece on the right below the resistor is the ignition control module. Looks like somebody was gonna swap in a Chrysler drivetrain.or :? :? ?

I really dunno lol, the guy just tossed it in I guess. I'm picking up the Dauntless 350/T-90/dana 20 tomorrow and it should be a breeze to wire either way.I'm still confused on the knob, possibly its stuck in and im looking at the head of the lighter?

I think that "knob" is just a plug someone stuck there in place of the lighter. ????

The lighter element is probably just stuck in housing. I've had a couple I had to pry out.
I had the 350/400/D20 in an old Jeepster I was using for my snowplow. I had to use the engine mounts from the 225 I pulled out, the 350 mounts wouldn't work.

Just as a note if you decide to see if it still works. If it isn't glowing when it pops out, don't stick your finger on it to see if it is hot. Don't as me how I know.
