Is this anything?

Saw this the other day while tooling around. It looks sort of like an M100, or a civilian Bantam, but not really. It does have 6 lug 16 in wheels and stacked springs, but no shocks. Tail lights dont look military. Fenders aren't right. It's not in great shape. The old dude that owns it says he'll take $50, but he has to split that with his brother. R)

Yep. Might not be military, but it still has that "older" coolness facter.8)
For 50 bucks, I'd jump on it. Even if for fix up & resell.

I've got one almost identical to it - Mine's made out of a 30's Chevy 1/2 ton bed. Is the axle made up of a welded-up front end (hint: look for the spindles, and a "bowed down" axle)? BTW - I paid $40 10 years ago, and still consider it a great bargain!

 

I'd grab it if I had found it....shoot I grabbed one from my stepdad that looks like it's got an old ford front axle
