hey guys i have the stock axles from my 56 (58?) cj-6 i need to get rid of. they are setup for spring over. are these things worth anything, or should i take them to the boneyard? i think the front is missing the drums and it has late model y-syle steering linkage (like a tj or xj) just thought i would see what you all thought i should do with them.

oh! and same with the springs... i think they might be like 1.5 to 2" list springs. they appear to be in good shape. really no idea. lets say they are stock height, are they worth trying to get a few bucks for or should i dump them in the scrap metal recycling?

    thanks a lot

Check the ratios in there. Some are worth keeping / selling as they are hard to find (like the 4:88's in some of them).

Jimmy were are you at I would be interested because they have the spring over setup as I am considering doing it with mine would be nice to have a spare set of axles so if I dont like how it turns out I can always swap it back, lift spings would be helpful as well anyway I would be interested if you arent to far from me.

thanks for the input. ill count the ratio. if they aren't 4.88's ill just donate them to some jeeper who wants to a spring over or something.

    thanks again.

    Jimmy,

If you're just going to donate them, I would be interested in taking them off your hands. Where in Denver are you? I'm just east of Go;den.
