Fuel Lines - which is which?

I bought a new fuel pump this weekend and when I went to intall it I noticed that my jeep has two fuel lines coming from the sending unit and that this fuel pump only allows for one. I am going to just go ahead and plug of the lines and run one and not worry abotu the return line. Should this work ok or may I run into vapor lock issues? Also, does anyone have a diagram of the fuel system?

Take the fuel pump back and get the right one, you'll have problems with the rear tank. You need the vent line which is the 2nd line to the fuel pump you mentioned.

Hmm thats the only one that they list at O'Reilys. I'll have to check somewhere else.

Head to a NAPA, preferably an older one. Around here I wouldn't buy an air freshener from O'reillys.

napa has em at a decent price. and the satisfaction guarantee is nice to have if it messes up in a year or so.

i go to oreill's only as a last resort but they usually have to order anything i need anyway, so i head back to napa and it gets here within 3 days but usually the next morning.

btw mike, i actually did buy an airfreshener from o'reilly's as a gag gift for a friend. it gave me a headache...
