Engine Miss... fixed!!

Just a follow up from my previous thread.

I did buy a cheap coil, spent about $11 on that. Turned out that the coil wasn't the problem, so now I have a trail spare.

While I was on travel last week, my wife stopped by Advance Auto and picked up my new dist cap and rotor, that I had to order because they are non-stocking items
Friday night I installed them, fired it up....

it worked!!

The springs on the hold-down lugs were shot in the old cap, so the lugs wouldn't hold the cap securely anymore. The new cap has good springs, it's good and tight.

Yesterday I ran it up into the woods on a pretty tight trail... to set up my ladder stand for hunting in a couple weeks. It's running good :v6:
