10inch clutch for a 52 williys

    well i got my new engine cranked up today. 355 300hp. any how needed a good clutch but coldnt get one for the stupid thing any bigger than an 8". so i thought id make my own? i got a new chevy 10" disc and started working on the splines till i got it drilled out to 1.3333.then i cut the rivits on the 7" disc and took out the hub cut it down to fit the chevy 1.333 and tiged that baby in.waalhaa i got the thing in and works l;ike a champ.just thought some one might be interestd thanks,jared

    We used to have a local clutch reman place that would do custom clutches pretty reasonable, but they won't touch 'em any more. Good to know there is an alternative.
