I must have got on it alittle to much. I got the 327 tune up and through
I would go 4-wheelin. The stock drive is alittle to weak, so now I am looking for a place that sells heavyduty drivelines.

    Driveline? Like what parts?

I don't remember what transmission you have or rear axle.

So you want to upgrade the T90(?) and D44 2 piece 19 spline(?)

I'd start perusing the tech section, there's a D44 full floater upgrade there.

SM420 would bolt up to the 327 nicely. Read up on that swap too for hooking it to the D18.

    Or get a 30 spline flanged D44 from a 70-71 CJ-5.

All of these are covered in the tech section and in this forum. ;)

consider it as the "fuse" in your drivetrain; cheaper than replacing
    gears IMO

Arent the U joints the weak link here? If you twisted up the rear driveshaft, I would suspect some previos damage the was undetected that finally failed. Usually(not always) it is the universal joints that fail unless there is some other damage or force applied.

I misunderstood, I interpret driveline to be the equivalent of drivetrain. Not just the driveshaft.

If you need a good driveshaft can't go wrong with Tom Woods from what I've heard.
