Jeep Value

I want to preface this post by saying I have absolutely no intention of selling my jeep, but I am curious what it is worth.

It is a 1968 CJ5 V6 with 12,000 something miles on it. It is in great shape and I am restoring it to "new" condition, and am going to make it totally stock except maybe some brake up grades, adding a rear lock, and possibly a roll cage. What do you think a jeep like this will be worth. Just curious, Dirty

 

It's worth whatever someone wants to give you for it.

As a guess- between $500-$7,000.

 

well as far as the registrar is concerned it is worth $100 , but I was just curious, I am just getting into all this jeep stuff again and was just wondering what this little beauty is worth.

My family has owned this jeep its whole life so I didnt have to purchase it, it was given to me as part of my fathers will, so I was just curious what is could be worth. Later, Dirty

 

Try watching auctions on Ebay for a Jeep in similar condition. The area of the country you are in plays a pretty big role in pricing as well.
