I just bought a bracket off Ebay and was wondering if somebody has some pictures of a Buick 350 bracket mounted on a 225. Either this isnt the right bracket or I am not seeing how it should be mounted.

Don't know if this is any help since you already have a power steering bracket. I just finished putting power steering on my '71 CJ5 and I used a ps bracket from an 84 Buick 231 and it is a direct bolt on. Your bracket should have three holes that match the holes in the drivers side head. Place the long bolt in the pattern in the uppermost bolt hole and the remaining two short bolts should match up. kb71

bringing this back to top... i've got two sets of 231 p/s brackets and both have an interference on the exhaust manifold. you guys still got those pictures floating around?

Don't own a camera. However, I failed to mention that I changed exhaust manifolds from stock to later 231's so the exhaust exits to the rear and there is no interference between the ps bracket and the manifold. Also changing the exhaust manifold makes the hookup from steering sector to ps gear box much easier.kb71

yup, i thought i remembered that the manifolds had to be changed, but no one was mentioning that part of the swap as of late... just got to mount the box, find some lines, attach the steering column, figure out the tie rods, redo the exhaust and then i'll be done!!
