Water Pump

I am replacing my water pump on a cj5 73 304 v8. I lost or got rid of the old one.
Does any know the measurement of the new pumps so the belts line up.Thank You in advanced

 

I seem to recall that the mid 70's water pumps had some issues with depth and/or accessories not bolting up correctly.
Some of the new factory water pumps came with a bag of spacers to remedy the issues.
You don't say what the problem is, pulley alignment ?
And if so which one(s) ?

 

if i recall the 73 had a short pump

 

From what I can find, 73-79 were the long water pumps.
