Here's one of mine with a warn o/d
Pretty similar aside from the chrome and knob and it bends to the other side.

I bought my first Warn Overdrive in 1977.
    I've never seen a 2 or 3 pinion.
I do have a Husky, with a chrome handle.
Never had a low lube failure, but had a drive nut that loosened and burned one up.

Ok. I'll be sure to check around for a tag and report back.
I'm planning on changing all of the fluids during my time home, and I'll check out everything on the OD and D18 if/when* I throw some 3.15s in the D18 or if I remove the PTO at a separate time.

*probably more of a when, but that when could be years away...

One disadvantage to a Husky or Dualmatic is the unlikelihood of a 3.15 Bowl gear working.

Also unlikely to find parts if you break it.
AA's current parts will fit a Warn OD.

Hmm, I didn't even consider that. Lets hope I have a Warn then.

Make sure you use GL-1 or GL-4 safe for yellow metal gear oil and fill it as full as you can get it.

It's also possible to swap all the innards into another make/brand case. The warn OD that came with my cj5, I tried to swap the bowl gear for the 3.15 bowl gear, and found i had all husky gears on the inside. Case had the warn nameplate. Herm does carry some husky gears etc, but getting it compatible with the 3.15 didn't seem to be an option. In other words, don't make any plans until you can get back to it, identify what it is and what the parts are. Then you can actually make a decision based on hard knowledge instead of hypothetical what ifs.

Yeah, I'll be nailing down what everything is before I start buying stuff. Since I'm planning on taking off the PTO drive anyways, I'll pull the OD and check that out as well before I order anything.

I noticed no one provided a picture of a Warn, so here's one of mine. You can barely see the sticker.

Here's a Husky. They all look pretty much the same except the tag:

And that particular Husky also came with a chrome handle/knob. Here's a picture of it:

Thank you. I notice that the Husky's cap sits farther out than the Warn at the base of the point. Does anybody know if those caps are interchangeable? I'll need to get one when I take off my PTO drive, and the ones I've looked at on AA are the shorter type as seen on the Warn.

As long as the bolt holes line up, I think the caps would interchange. It looks like the Husky cap just has longer bolts. Internally, they should be the same since they mimic the PTO drive teeth of a D18 under that cover.

Ok. I can order the shorter-looking one from AA and, depending on what OD I have, be the test guinea pig. I'll report back when it's all said and done.

I’ll throw up some pics when I have my computer and can re-size pics to be compatible with the album, but I have a Warn OD.

Great news. You can get replacement parts for it from Advance Adapters, and you can get a TeraLow 3.15:1 bowl gear.
