WTB Bracket For Dana 18

I need the piece of metal that was used for the transfer case torque. I have the rubber part but I need the thick piecof metal. It attaches to the transfer case and the rubber that mounts to the frame.

This has been asked on previous occasion. Somebody had a flat pattern with bend info to make your own...I think.

 

There were several different brackets depending on which transmission was used. If yours is still the same as the '71, here are a couple
posts and one that you participated in. I am not sure if your bracket would be different with the SM465.

I have one here. I'm hanging on to it but I can bang you a duplicate out of barstock in a few minutes...

Rich I think I will try and fab one in my shop. Thanks for the offer. Since I put the sm465 in I will have to tweak the bends. I was thinking I would use 1/4" flat stock.

 

I'd go at least 3/8, possibly 1/2. I might have some 5/16 floating around too ( not the most common size but we use it quite a bit for horseshoes)
