Realized that I needed to add a few more inches leg room started cutting back the fender to enable. Got everything moved and tacked in, but man original metal is soooo thin, spent most of the day trying to fill in the burn spots! Think I finally have it, but doesn't look pretty, oh well, function over beauty right? added about 2.5in. Next step getting seat mounted!

What do you do on the front inside corner in the wheel well area?

Dad's approach was to thin the seat foam on the back of the seat. He needed more room for the steering wheel, but I think it would apply equally to leg room.

There is a bit of impact, I have a bit of a lift, so not anticipating too much trouble,

And, follow-up post a bit of filler/primer and bed liner paint, final outcome. Paint was still wet so I'm hoping that the shine dims a bit.

mine is similar, except its an angled cut, not a notched cut. I'll take a photo tonight. it minimizes the tire rub, and the cut matches my (aftermarket) seats as tightly as possible.

Usually the more leg room conundrum is more easily solved by just stamping your feet hard on the floor.
