Any difference between steering shafts for a '74 manual, to a power setup? I got the power gearbox out of a 79 CJ.

You can get a spud shaft to change the size if needed

Did you have any luck getting your '74 manual shaft adapted to the '79 p/s gear box? I see someone mentioned "spud shaft". I am not sure what that is.

    I am trying to do a similar upgrade such that I have a p/s gearbox from a '78 model intalling in a '75 CJ5.

Any info you can share regarding shaft assemblies would be greatly appreciated.
