T 14 A transmission or a cluster gear

since mine has worn out. I can use a good clustergear( inside also) or a T 14 to rebuild

If a gear on the countershaft has excessive wear, fully inspect the rest of the transmission gears. If debris was allowed to circulate internally, other damage may have occurred.
A new countershaft will have to break-in with used gears. This may cause some noise, but old Jeeps are full of noises.
A cluster gear can also be called a countershaft.
If the gears are good, consider replacing all other consumable parts with an overhaul kit.

I believe that there were two versions of the T14; Kaiser Jeep with the Dauntless (Buick) V6 up to ‘71, and AMC Jeeps (‘72-‘74) with the 232 straight 6. I think the input shaft differs between them (length) but the counter gear may interchange. You would need to, at minimum, count the teeth on the front-most (largest) gear.

Yes I know. but if someone has a clustergear that would be fine. I have second gears in different tooth. so no problem what clusten V6 or line 6. thank you
