Hi all. I’ve got a 72 with the clutch bellcrank between the
trans and frame. Frame flex causes my clutch to act wonky so I’d like to modify it. Can anyone advise me about how best to change this? Would a hydraulic clutch conversions be an option and if so how does it work with my existing pedals?

The master and slave cylinder are for an 86 CJ7. I got them off rock auto, but any FLAPS should be able to get them.

I did the same on my 73. 1978 CJ parts from rock auto. I had to make an adapter for my hanging pedal to get the travel i needed for the master.
This was the last straw. i could not disengage the clutch and had to shut it down. Dog did not care.
