I am wondering what sort of variation on the F-134 timing pointers there are. I have a pointer that similar to the one shown in the service manual

But it doesnt have the marks shown in the drawing. So I am wondering if i should replace it with something like this from Kaiser Willys?

FYI. This is a picture of what I have currently.

A good cleaning and some white marking will make a big difference.

It appears to me you do have marks, and that they correspond to the outside edges of the extended nose.

Find the notch in your pulley and give it a dab of white paint for the timing light. Life will be good.
