I have read many threads on heater control panels on this forum but i haven't yet found any pics. I'm restoring an original, well worn but rust free, below dash mount heater control panel for my 1971 CJ5 and am in search of a picture for an example. Any photos are appreciated. Thanks, Bill in cloudy and cool Denver.

    Bill,

Mine ('64 CJ5) is the same as Juffer's, but maybe a little cleaner. Here's a picture of it:

If this is what you're looking for, you're not too far away -- maybe we could arrange for you to see it in person.

Would anyone have a source for the disk that rotates and directs vacuum to the dampers. It’s in the end of this control panel and has three tiny ports for the vacuum lines. The backside of this thing rotates withe push buttons on front which opens/ closes thes ports.
    Thanks,
    D

    I used this overlay.

it’s ok, but it’s a single piece that applies to the whole face of the panel. It was hard for me to keep the air bubbles out while trying to align it correctly around the button holes, etc.

I ended up cutting the labels out and just applying those separately. Not very happy with how mine turned out. But I’m sure that was just my fault and not the product.

Would it be possible to replicate the part with 3D printing? Seems to be a popular avenue for hard to find little pieces. There are people on this site who can and sometimes will do this type of work.
