Do you have the original? They are heavy-duty enough to be worth repairing.

Agreed - in the old days, if your radiator was bad, you took it to a radiator shop for repair. With the advent of aluminum radiators with plastic tanks, radiators became a throw away commodity.
It can be hard to find an old school radiator shop these days, a lot of them have gone out of business.

$75 is pretty cheap nowadays. I paid 3 times that to have my CJ5 radiator recored at a shop in Chattanooga last year.

Agreed, that's crazy cheap. It's more like $200 around here if you can even find a shop.

Prices for the cores have doubled since pre-Covid.

That's crazy cheap... I think I was $350 a year ago. Still cheaper than a new wide Dauntless radiator at the time.

That being said, there are places that list radiators as for the M38A1 and CJ5 together. There are plenty of people who have mixed and matched grills between the two models. If I were in your position I would try one of the $100-$150 aluminum CJ5 radiators. Worst case it doesn't fit and you're out return shipping.

Kenb. I did it was marked as a CJ5. And it not fit. But it was a eBay radiator. I called a guy I went to high school with that his father had a radiator shop and he repaired it for me. He changed me 150. Thanks everyone.
