I thought of your jeep today. Over the past few months I've been repairing rust holes in the body, but today I got a wild hair and pulled out the spot weld cutter, in a attempt to do a better job on both sides of the panel.

There really is a million spot welds in this thing. I spent all afternoon on it an only managed to get halfway down the panel from the back.

Great looking Jeep. That's a great color. Looks like you used your time machine and got it off the showroom floor.

It still amazes me every time I see your Jeep at what you started with. Your build thread was inspiring.

What tires are those on the CJ5? Sorry, I am sure it has been said in the previous 54 pages.

That picture with the Willys P/U and the 67 CJ, Top Notch.
Could be the cover on a vintage calendar. Or your Christmas Card.

    Outstanding! Those tires look sweet.
A set if those might be in order when I get the 64 CJ running.

John - just finished read this entire build thread. Absolutely fantastic. I wish I had your fab and painting skills. The Jeep couldn't be any better - congratulations!

That's a tough question. Someone would do well to supply white tops to everyone that wants one. There was talk of Whitco re-forming, but I think it died. If it were me, I would start at Beachwood Canvas. I think they will make tops out of anything you want, and I would use Haartz pinpoint vinyl in white.

I love this thread but for years now I've wondered how you cut a brake drum off with a skil saw
