    What’s the difference between the two oil baths?
    What years were each used?

    I think the one on the left was used when they switched the battery tray from the front to the firewall.

    I have one of a '64. Not sure which one it is. I can check tomorrow if that would be a helpful data point.

    After looking closely at your photo, the one off the 1964 matches the one on the left. Mine has a sticker that it's a Donaldson.

    I'm trying to help our Pal, Roy. He's been looking for a '66 ? It appears that the '66 is even a different style than those ? :shrug:

    My dads 56 has the one on the right. His 65 has the one on the left. Both seem to be original to the jeeps

    Right hand is all I know, apart from military style. OEM on my '56.

    Must have been a design change somewhere in the mid 60s. Air cleaner appears to be exactly the same just has a cover over the top holes and the bracket doesn’t seem to be offset as much. Thanks for the info everyone
