I recently purchased a 71' CJ 5 w/ the odd fire 225 in it which is in need of an overhaul. Can anyone tell me if there is a bolt on EFI system being manufactured for this motor. Addditionally does anyone have a good source for parts. Any help would be great.

    Welcome from KS.

You've asked probably the #1 or #2 question we see here.

Check the posts. I just went wheeling again today with my Pro-Jected 225. Works great!! Contrary to the Holley engineers it can be done!

Coffey, what other parts? Engine parts, or "general" parts?

4 wheel Drive Hardware has a "vintage" catalog.

find an "old fashioned" parts store where they still know how to use the parts books. got a few of my parts from the listed vendors also have a few of my own: NAPA, FLAPS (Friendly Local Auto Parts Store), Mile High Jeep, Beachwood Canvas, Orr and Orr Supply (they carry door handles), Motion Industires (bearing dealer = better price on bearings than anywhere), www.4wd.com (look under vintage) and www.hermtheoverdriveguy.com
