Dana 18 Rebuild: How Many Shims?

    Last pack I opened the shims were stuck together from packing oil. I had to look close to see it.

    I think in all, I used 12 or 13. All same thickness. Very thin. I found my old shins after the fact, and there was a really thick one, a couple in the middle, and 1 thin one, but they were toast. So I think mine worked out about the same.

    Got it shimmed and put back together finally! The NOS shim pack worked out much better.
