"Blue Streak" is Standard's premium line, and comes in a blue box. Unfortunately the coverage of Blue Streak seems quite limited today. The regular line from Standard comes in a red box, and should be ok. They also have a cheapo "T-Series;" avoid.

I would comment re the cheap construction: Capacitors have been made by rolling up foil and insulator like that for at least a century. Today, capacitors for electronics will have the leads welded to the foil. This is how the Illinois brand rectangular stacked metal film capacitors are made, that are shown as a "quality" replacement on the page that Howard linked. Letting the foil hang over the end of the roll and contacting via pressure is likely how these devices have been made since the beginning.

The weekend got away from me so I was never able to get the photos I said I would, but the problem was solved for me as follows: Surrounding the power input on the distributor wire there should be a small insulating sleeve. While that was still mostly intact, I shored it up by giving it a light coat of liquid electrical tape. I then replaced the rubber insulating washers at either end of the input, which prevent it from grounding out and tightened everything back up. If I remember right, to get that impute out, pretty much all the internals from the distributor need to be removed which makes this a good time to clean and oil things especially the advance spring
