I'd much rather bend a rocker guard than the rocker. Leave 'em on John.

I have a set Of Rock Rash on Bam Bam. :) Very well made, John does great job.
Have not tested them yet though. (sorry John  ) They should take a solid shot though very heavy duty.

Olympic 4x4 Produts used to list a set of bars kind of like what I have on the YJ from OR Fab.
They have saved the body more than a few times.
    They look like these.

Jerry, I agree. I'm planing on leaving them on till I get a set from John.
I talked to him a few months ago about them, but he was busy w/ his
moving and getting set up in Colorado, i believe. He said he'd let me
know when he was able to get to them, but as yet haven't heard from
him. I PM'd him last week. Hopefully I'll hear from him soon. The main
reason I like his was the ground clearance. I know Olymics and OR have
them but wanted to do buisness w/ a member. And keeping the price
    reasonable.

When I bought mine the price was $100.00. But after he made several sets, the price of steel went up. So since then he raised the price. I don't know what he wants now.
Here's a link to Hard Rock 4x4 Parts. They make a set similar to firegod's

Like I said, I have a set of firegod's that I haven't put on yet. I'm going to have them powder coated so he sent them to me sandblasted and phosphate washed. You can see the welds and workmanship and it's absolutely first rate. A thing of beauty. I think his price went up to $135--but maybe higher now--haven't heard of steel prices going down. :( Whatever the price, there worth every penny!

Yes, he's an over the road driver. He's hardly ever home.
And yes he has a web site. I thought I had it somewhere. I'll see if
    I can find it.

Sorry I came into the thread late. It was just pointed out to me yesterday. Unfortunately, production was delayed much longer after our relocation than we had planned. We're back at work on the rockers and hope to have them on line again very soon. We're looking at some improvements in the manufacturing process, including hydro-cutting and bending, vs. the torch cut and welded method used to produce the previous models. Price is yet to be determined.
We will also have a new website in the near future. I will be sure to give all the details to Sparky and/or the moderators in hopes that they find the updates worthy of the News section of ECJ5. I thank everyone for the compliments. It makes me happy to know that you're happy with your rockers.
For some reason I haven't been recieving notifications of PM's from the site. Email ( firegod33@bmesa.com ) may be a better way to get in touch, especially as I haven't had as much time as I'd like to visit here. I'm currently driving tankers in the oil and gas fields in Western Colorado. It's a kick in the pants, as far as jobs go, but it ties me up 80-100 hours a week.
